Aluminum weather forecaster by Irving P. Krick of Pasadena, CA., in original box. In all original condition this forecaster shows two pictures of six different cloud formations (front and back of case) with wind directions and a compass. By rotating the knurled knob at the base, the season can be selected on the left side (May - October in red for summer, and October - May in blue for winter) and an arrow positioned against the correct cloud formation and the wind direction. The weather forecast then shows up at the top in a window beneath the word Forecast.
Irving Krick made his living in long range weather forecasting and cloud seeding to precipitate rain in unseasonaly dry areas. This forecaster works without the use of a barometer!
