A simple round top solid mahogany stick barometer with "ivorine" plates and vernier, and original mercury thermometer. The maker is J.D.Williams of Wales. This style is typical of many barometers made towards the end of the 19 th century in solid oak, mahogany, rosewood, and occasionally cherry. I usually have a few in stock, always in fuly restored, working condition.
