M1134 Victorian oak wheel Barometer

Carved oak 2 dial mercury wheel barometer, with long mercury thermometer over 8 inch silvered brass dial. The brass bezel has a thick, flat, bevelled glass, and there is a set hand adjustment knob beneath.

This is a style frequently made as both aneroid and mercury, and this example is mercury. Both hands are very delicate, and the wood finial has now been added at the top.
