5 inch brass cased nautical barometer with three annular fixing points (to the bulkhead) instead of a hanging ring. The brass case has not been polished and is uniformly tarnished; the back, which had been against the wall, has its original lacquer. It has a silvered brass dial with a hole at the centre for viewing the mechanism, and a curved thermometer beneath. The retailer is Charles C. Hutchinson of Boston.
I always have this style of aneroid barometer in stock, but usually with a hanging ring (not for a boat) instead of the 3 fixing points.
